My Strong Man
You have got to be one of the strongest people I know. I mean that in the emotional and physical sense. Always in control of your feelings and actions. Very calculated and calm. I admire that in I am almost completely opposite. I’m set off at the slightest thing and I often find it hard to keep my tongue between my teeth.
Not you though. You have this masculinity about you that I’ve never seen before. I feel the strength in your arms when you hold me and kiss the top of my hair. Just like you did the first night I kissed you after having too much wine. You are more than I ever expected and a dream come true.
I know every day that you love me by the little things you do and say. Very rarely you show me the depth and breadth of that love but I never doubt it. I feel protected and safe.
